Top side with a Chilon plastically worked out, rear side with a Chinese stamp seal, which surface is glossy polished.

At the side a circulating beautiful ornamentation.

Remark:

Under dragon 2 old broken stone tools (Karnelian or similar), further root tracks are visible which shows a longer burial in soil!

Becaues of hardness of this jade, it is difficult to work!

Very scarce!

Bronze period clasp bar (Spangenbarren), 1900-1800 B.C., with approximately triangular and half-round cross-section and turned round ends, (younger form).

They were produced presumably in an above open mould and after the cast the ends were bent.

The clasp bars (Spangenbarren) consist of copper and form the raw material for the production of bronze weapons and other equipments.

They were pure trade good and therefore form

a true pre-monetary means of payment!

Bi-Disc made of slightly transparent Jade (Nephrit)

Warring States* (475-221 BC)*

The Bi-disc is on both sides beautifully engraved.

The figures are worked out higher to the base surface.

Very beautiful work!

Remark:

Please notice, in found condition these Bi discs were strongly calcinated and were more or less cleaned (un)properly. Therefore the impression can result for a replication because after cleaning the most of them were polished with beeswax.

All Bi discs are carefully examined by me microscopically and only originals will come into the sale.

Please, take into account, that packing is more consuming, because I want that the Bi disc shall arrive you undamaged!

*Before you purchase, please note, that the determination into the corresponding dynasties is very difficult since the artifacts were often used unchangedly over a longer culture time period. Even experts often have various opinions.

The dynasties mentioned here, were all determinated by Chinese experts. Since the determinations are subject to various interpretations, a correction is reserved. A return because of wrong dynasty classification is not possible.

One-shot muzzle-loader with percussion lock and octagonal barrel which is rifled, approx. 1850 A.D.

On the barrel serial number and two punches: Crown, 2 crossed swords and heraldries.

Metal parts are provided with flower-like tendril ornamentation. Surface of the steel parts are partly slightly scarred.

Handle shells of walnut wood.

English production, written on the barrel: "B.Coggs Well, 224 Strand, London"
