Because each necklace is an hand made single item, small deviations to the illustration are possible at delivery. All necklaces are pulled up originally.

Delivery only as long as the stock lasts.

Age of Necklaces:

60-90 years, Some beads and pendants are several one hundred years old, because they were used sometimes over generations.

ASIA:

Naga necklace with a bell made of cast brass. Single-sidedly on the bell there is a picture of a bat or flying fox. The cylindrical beads are from fossil wood/bone, the small coloured beads are from glass.

Naga necklace with naked woman from cast brass. The cylindrical beads are of fossil wood which are adapted to the etched Pumtek beads. The coloured beads are from glass. At the end are two long brass spirals of approx. 42 mm length each.

Naga necklace with 5 brass cast pendants, approx. 16-17th century A.D. and older. The deep blue and slightly translucent beads are presuming older and are probable from China. The brass cast pendants were produced by the Naga and can go back until prehistoric times.

Naga/Chin necklace with bronze rings (perhaps also silver of bad quality) and animal teeth. The bronze rings are separeted from each other by small red pipes and yellow slices made of glass. The middle pendant is a human? tooth.

Necklace made of etched Pumtek beads, approx. 16-17th century A.D. and older. The beads consisting of fossil palm wood. The necklaces are worn by the Lakher tribes, which are living in the southern Mizoram area until Burma. They had commercial relations with the Naga tribes.

Naga necklace made of reddish, olive shaped carnelian/agate beads. These were traded by the Naga from surrounding tribes. These beads are originated from India, presumable from Cambay and are approx. 150 to 200 years old (or older). These beads were regarded as prosperity indicator and means of payment by the Naga.

These beads are originated from India, presumable from Cambay and are approx. 250 to 300 years old (or older). These beads were regarded as prosperity indicator and means of payment by the Naga.

Naga "Collier", consisting of 7 ropes with small fossil wood or bone beads and additional very old Pumtek beads.

Between this there are different shells like stone oysters, olive shells and cockles. The 7 ropes are fixed on the right and on the left into 2 cockles.
