Necklace made of genuine undyed coral.

The coral beads are ca. 250 up to 300 years old.

The spacer beads are made of ebony wood with silver and are not so old.

The clasp consits of silver.

AFRIKA:

Akan necklace, brass gold plated. The pendant from brass cast imitates a gold nugget. In earlier times, only the noblemen of the Akan were allowed carrying this necklaces, which were made of solid gold. Later, when the nobles lost their influence more and more, the normal people took over this necklaces in the design as shown in the picture. The beads are consumingly produced by hand.
